Terms of Business

The following terms of business apply to all of our work for clients, except where alternative terms are explicitly agreed.

What we agree to do

We will provide the services as agreed between Theodorsen Consulting and our client. We will do this honestly, competently and diligently and to a high professional standard.

Fees

The fees for a project will be agreed and confirmed by us in writing before commencement. Any variation to fees will be explicitly agreed and confirmed in writing.

Protection of Client Information

We will not, except as authorised by our client or as required by our agreement or by an applicable State or Commonwealth law, use for our own benefit or gain or divulge to any persons, firm, company or other organisation whatsoever any confidential information belonging to our clients or relating to our clients’ affairs or dealings, or the affairs or dealings of their clients which may come to our knowledge in the course of our engagement.

Invoicing and payment terms

We will provide an invoice at the end of each month or as otherwise agreed. Our invoice will clearly set out the nature and cost of the services provided. Where fees are charged on an hourly rate, the invoice will be clearly itemised to show the time allocated to specific tasks.

Our payment terms are 21 days from receiving our invoice unless otherwise agreed.

Termination of Services

Where services are provided by us on an on-going basis, the services agreement may be terminated at any time by giving one month’s notice in writing to us. If the agreement is terminated in this way, our client is liable only for work that is undertaken in accordance with the agreement up until the date of termination.
